Hi, I'm Learncy. Pronounced as learn-see, it means to learn and see the world. It seems fitting now that I'm a photographer based in Melbourne.
Born and raised in New Delhi, India, I moved to Melbourne for my Masters in 2019. My Masters was in Publishing and Communications which has nothing to do with photography but covers another love of mine – books. I believe photography, like books, has the power to tell amazing stories and that is what I want to achieve with my photographs. I want to tell stories, both extraordinary and ordinary.
Few of my favourite things to shoot are shadows, windows and people who laugh like there is no tomorrow. And the illustration above is me capturing two of those three.
